there is'nt a whole lot to update this week so im sorry but this is going to be a short one.
This last week was nations to nations which is a big one week long confrence about how important it is to stand as one in God. God loves all the nations and loves all tounges so every year there are these confrences all over the world. There were 3 YWAM bases that came and stayed at my YWAM base. Two were from South Africa and one was from Bethlem. It was really intense because there was masive amounts of people here and we all ate at the same time we all needed to shower at the same times and well it was tricky but overall it was good. There was music dance and drama every night and every night we ended with a huge dance party and well everyone knows how much i enjoy a good dance party especially if it's for God. We were not able to go to our regualr outreach in Zwelethemba this week though but we still went to DeDoorns which was cool because i had never been there before. It was all 7th and 8th graders and we taught them the story of Daniel and played games it was actually alot of fun.
As for our little ministry that we started in the local stores, well it's going great! we already got some donations! we got 2 bags of books a trash bag full of clothes, 150 rand, some soaps and there is still more to come! one resteraunt asked us to make a grocery type list and they would just go to the store and buy whats on our list and that was a huge blessing! we also are still waiting on a few promised donations. It's really exciting now because when it comes christmas time the children will recive presents! We are really really excited. We also have almost finished our documentary and i will send it out ASAP. We are planning on using this video to raise money for the house of orphans. It will cost between 4-5,000 rand to build the house but we are confident we can get it (thats a little less than 1,000 U.S. dollars) then we need to start fundraising for our outreach, the more money we get the more we can do there. Im a little scared though because we will be living in a village in Tanzania and we will most likely need to fetch all our own water slaughter and cook our own meals, sleep on the ground with the meassive amounts of cockroaches and it will be blazing hot on top of that. We are all actually really excited for this though because we came for an adventure like this.
Well i think thats about it... for all those that are missin me IT HAS BEEN 1 MONTH! see how fast it went! now 4 more to go and i will be back! well much love to everyone leave lots of comments they always make me smile...
